I would prefer that the homeowners view my web site as it was intended: a location to find relevant information about the subdivision quickly and without a hassle. If it were possible, I would post everything from the homeowners association to make the neighborhood that much nicer. Unfortunately, it appears that at least one person does not wish that to be. My web site is (in part) a response to that particular individual who - in my opinion - wishes to feel like "the big dog" and who withholds or controls information to do so. If you'll notice, there have been no recent posts regarding emails from the HOA. I believe that I have been cutoff because of my website. Since my alternatives are to either attend all meetings (impossible because of my work) or raise a ruckus with the association, I've just let it go quiet until such time that changes work through. Bottom line: would I recommend the neighborhood? Yes, it is a very pleasant place to live. People are friendly but not overbearing. We have relatively low association fees, and covenants are not very restrictive. We have been here 16 years and our children are going into college - it has been very nice for us. That being said, no place is perfect :-)
