This site was created because of a single jerk who is on the
the homeowners association board. This person - whose name I do not know -
was rude, uncivil, and confrontational when asked questions via email.
The questions asked were politely phrased and asked in an attempt to determine
answers and request assistance for issues that were relevant to me. It became obvious
that this person did not care about communication with residents, or improving the
subdivision. His/her only concern appears to be keeping his/her annual fees down.
(And perhaps minimizing effort at typing responses to emails) It appears
that any person who asks a question which (a) requires an effort at communication
or (b) causes him/her to feel threatened in some way will get the same style of rude communique.
I feel for the poor people on the board trying to make a nice neighborhood and having
to deal with this jerk. It's no wonder nobody wants to be a board member!
Anyway, my goal here is to provide the information which this jerk does not want
to make available to you, my neighbors. On this website you will find emails, meeting
minutes, copies of legal documents, and information such as mailing addresses and
contact info. I'm not a board member and I would just as soon pay a professional
board to run things (professional usually means civility, BTW). But, as long
as this is the way things are I see no reason why anybody should have difficulty
obtaining information.
As far the events leading up to the web site: I'll tell you that if I could, I would
make sure any person who communicates with their neighbors in the fashion to which I
was subjected would never be a member of a neighborhood board.
But you don't have to take my word on any of this. Visit this page

Late 2011:
Through events of which I am not privy, there has been a re-building of the Homeowners Association Board.
The new board members are listed in this email. I wish the board every success in
their endeavors!
